The Leadership Team responsible for running the Yallourn site also interviews employees who incur lost time injuries to learn what steps may be taken to avoid a repeat of the particular accident by identifying risk areas and removing hazards.

Implementation of these procedures has been made more thorough and effective with the use of an online tracking system that allows our teams to record, monitor and report on safety action plans and events and reduces the risk of important safety items not being resolved quickly.
