Access to the Tallawarra construction site and to Tallawarra Lands is by prior arrangement with TRUenergy. Persons seeking access to the site should call Lloyd Townsend on 02 4231 8407 to make access arrangements and complete a site induction.
Following sale of the Tallawarra site, a substantial section of the lake foreshore was transferred to the Lake Illawarra Authority for public use. This land extends from the northern boundary of the site to the tip of the outlet channel of the northern training wall adjacent to the old power station site.

The dedicated land contributes greatly to maximising public access to the shore of Lake Illawarra by forming an unbroken link between two major access points - Gilba Rd at Elizabeth Point and the public car park next to the former power station site. We look forward to working with the Lake Illawarra Authority as it develops this important local facility.
Development projects that have already taken place include two new shelter sheds and children’s playground on the lake shore. Local community members are welcome to use this new site.
The boundary of the site is clearly marked with "No Trespassing" signs and this policy is enforced through frequent random security patrols and by our employees on site.
